Thank you all so much every pt ot.Thank you for allowing El Camino Health to care for you and your loved ones. she was so dialed in to what was going on. I feel I owe Dr Johnson money because I told her what she was proposing for pain control wouldn't work. There is a large staff and everyone is like that, you won't find anything better. somehow he knew before I did and boom, there he was taking care of it. john would most of the time resolve any issue before I even asked. I think I have not met a kinder more professional medical staff. so let's move on to the nurses and CNA s. She solved the problem in may a 1/2 hour. Kathy said don't worry I'll take care of it. I only had one thing happen, and that was a manufacturer defect. I watched her help staff improve on little things and I think they know how good she is. I'm not saying between patients and staff. The director Kathy, unfortunately I can't remember her last name is so good resolving things for patients and staff. I recommend El Camino hospital acute rehabilitation center with no reservations. I went here last march after a second back surgery in 2022. This facility made a bad situation as good as possible for my family and myself. Neda and speech therapist Julia told me what to expect during recovery. Training was held outside, with distancing, masks and provided sanitizer for covid19 sensitivity. I thought this was a nice personal touch, it was speaking her language and going above and beyond. My relative used to do judo, and Philip brought a mat out to practice getting up in case of a fall. Her physical therapist, Philip, was great with her! He showed me what they had been working on. They scheduled a training close to the discharge date to show me her progress and how to handle supervision of everyday movement. They made sure I knew what preparations I needed for her home, many things I wouldn't have thought of. El Camino followed up with me numerous times to make sure I was prepared for everything that goes into the process. I was getting lots of calls from various doctor's offices. Having never been through something like this, I found the El Camino staff to be informative and responsive. As I was the emergency contact, I was primary point of contact for the discharge. Recently had a close relative discharged from here.
